1. CARS24, the online marketplace for buying and selling used cars, has completed an investment raise of about $50 million (Rs 340 crore) to fuel its expansion plans.

2. Micro-hospitality startup SaffronStays: Where Families Bond has about $2 million from consumer-centric venture capital firm Sixth Sense Ventures.

3. Flipkart has added two new tabs on its mobile application — ‘Recharges’ and ‘Travel.’ The first tab redirects the customer to Flipkart’s payments platform PhonePe, and the second tab takes the user to MakeMyTrip to book travel tickets.

4. YES BANK is collaborating with 10 ‘smart cities’ for use of its Yes Scale Smart Cities accelerator to tackle the challenges of urban development.

5. SME lender OfBusiness has raised Rs 200 crore in a series C funding round from Creation Investments and Falcon Edge.

6. Sachin Tendulkar-backed Indian virtual sports and entertainment company, Smaaash Entertainment Pvt. Ltd, is planning to launch its initial public offering (IPO) to raise Rs 500 crore from the market, reported DealStreetAsia.

7. Nandan Nilekani and Sanjeev Aggarwal-led investment firm Fundamentum Advisors and Eight Roads Ventures are in talks to lead a $40-50 million funding round in online pharma company PharmEasy.

8. Alibaba.com Group has agreed to acquire a minority stake in China's Focus Media to tap into the digital marketing sector.

9. South African conglomerate Naspers looks ready to sell its stake in TBO (Travel Boutique Online) to Standard Chartered Private Equity (SCPE), a private equity arm of Standard Chartered Bank.

10. Jaipur-based online furniture platform Wooden Street has raised $1 million (around Rs 6.8 crore) in a Series A round of funding led by Rajasthan Venture Capital Fund (RVCF).

11. Online audition app ‘Firstcut‘, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Kunal Singhal, Managing Director, EazyERP.

12. Jana Small Finance Bank is all set to commence banking operations and will eventually target to get into two wheeler loans and consumer durable loans.
