1. Digital community for women, POPxo, has announced the launch of its ecommerce platform to sell private label merchandise.

2. Vokal, which aims to be the go-to peer-to-peer knowledge-sharing platform for India’s non-English speaking segment, has raised a $5 million (approx ₹34.5 crore) Series A round led by Chinese investor Shunwei Capital, 500 Startups, with participation from existing investors Accel India and Blume Ventures.

3. Trell, Bengaluru-based an experience discovery platform through user-generated short videos, raised seed round of $1.25Mn co-led by BEENEXT and WEH Ventures. Sprout Venture Partners, Google India MD Rajan Anandan, Shaadi.com Founder Anupam Mittal & other HNIs.

4. Coworking startup myHQ Workspaces has raised a funding of $ 500,000 in a round led by a clutch of angel investors along with Singapore Angel Network, Outbox Ventures, GEMBA Capital and LetsVenture.

5. Maruti Suzuki India has decided to develop electric motors for its small cars - Alto, Wagon R, Celerio and A-Star.

6. IFC plans to make an equity investment of $23 million (Rs 158 crore) in Hyderabad-based poultry company Srinivasa Farms Pvt. Ltd, to expand its operations.

7. MakeMyTrip.com has invested an undisclosed sum in travel-focused technology provider Bitla software, the Nasdaq-listed, Gurgaon-headquartered company.

8. US based startup incubator Y Combinator has invested in smart SMS app Kyte.ai, as a part of its summer cohort.

9. eBay, which is set to exit Flipkart following the Walmart deal, is exploring fresh options in India and has held talks for a merger with some e-commerce players, including ShopClues, reported ET.

10. Facebook buys Israeli messaging company Redkix to strengthen its Workplace product, for a deal value less than $100 million.

11. Paytm has now expanded its operations to Japan in partnership with PayPay Corporation, which is a joint holding entity between Japanese telecom major SoftBank and Yahoo Japan.

12. ClearTax is looking at processing around 4 million tax filings through its platform this financial year, against about 2.5 million last year, reported ET.

13. Bengaluru-based CSR lifestyle management platform Goodera has raised Series B funding round led by SAIF Partners, Nexus Venture Partners, and Omidyar Network.  

14. Mumbai based startup Coolberg Beverages has raised seed funding from India Quotient Fund and the Indian Angel Network’s maiden fund for further expansion..

15. Flipkart-owned fashion retailer Myntra has acquired omnichannel fashion marketplace Pretr Online Services Pvt. Ltd for an undisclosed amount.

 16. Indonesia's ride-hailing service GO-JEK has announced its first International operations in Vietnam, with the company backed GO-VIET now available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.  

17. Indian government is asking Whatsapp for setting up an office and recruiting a team in the country before the launch of UPI-based payments service.  

18. Paytm Payments Bank stopped enrolling new customers on June 20 following an audit by the RBI, which made certain observations about the process the company follows in acquiring new customers and its adherence to know-your-customer (KYC) norms, reported LiveMint.

19. Freshworks joins unicorn club with $1.5B valuation after raising $100M funding led by Sequoia Capital and Accel Partners- India.

23. Swiggy has launched Swiggy SUPER, its membership programme which gives users unlimited free deliveries across all restaurants, irrespective of the distance or time of day.   

24. Private equity firm TPG has led a $100 million (Rs 685 crore) investment round in SME lender Five Star Business Finance Ltd.
